For 2024, the remaining open Application Periods are the months of  May, July, September, November.

Employees must be Ohio residents and be listed on the employer’s Ohio payroll as W-2 employees. Contractors and 1099 employees are not eligible.

No, Ohio TechCred is open to companies of all sizes, from small businesses to large corporations.

Applications are evaluated based on the relevance of the credential to the company’s current or future technology needs and the potential economic impact.

All training and credentialing must be completed within 12 months of the award date.

Reimbursable costs include tuition, lab fees, manuals, textbooks, and certification costs directly related to the credentialing process.

Reimbursement requests must be submitted within six weeks of an employee completing the credential. Processing of reimbursement typically occurs within 90 days of submission.
