To achieve the ITIL (Version 5) Managing Professional designation, learners must successfully complete two courses and two certification exams.
ITIL MPT: Product, Service, Experience (PSE)
September 15-18 10am – 4pm EST; OR December 8-11 10am – 4pm EST
ITIL MPT: Transformation (Transform)
October 27-30 10am – 4pm EST; OR January 19-22, 2027 10am – 4pm EST
There is no required order. You may take either course first and complete the second when it best fits your schedule. We intentionally schedule the courses separately to give learners time to prepare for and pass the first exam before attending the second course and sitting for the second exam.

Prerequisites:
- ITIL 4 Managing Professional → Earns the ITIL (Version 5) Managing Professional designation, or
- ITIL 4 Master → Earns the ITIL (Version 5) Master designation, or
- ITIL v3 Expert → Earns the ITIL (Version 5) Managing Professional designation or
- ITIL v3 Master → Earns the ITIL (Version 5) Master designation
- Accredited training or Official eLearning
Certification: Two multiple-choice exam(s), open book, and focused only on changes from ITIL 4 to ITIL (Version 5). The PDF notes that there may be one or two exams, with final confirmation pending testing.
- ITIL MPT: Product, Service, Experience (PSE). 120-minute, case story-based, 40 multiple choice questions. 70% to pass.
- ITIL MPT: Transformation (Transform). 90-minute, case story-based, 40 multiple choice questions. 70% to pass.
Professional Education Hours: Individuals attending this class will earn 30 professional education hours (e.g., CPDs, PDUs, CPEs, CEUs) upon completion of this course. These professional education hours can be submitted to associations such as the Project Management Institute and ISACA, if applicable. Successful candidates with PeopleCert Plus Annual Membership can log continuous professional development (CPD) points against their certificate in PeopleCert’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program to satisfy the program’s renewal requirements.
