Funding for Training

CONNECT WITH THE FUNDING YOU NEED.

We partner with government funding programs.

Due to the Pandemic and the rising unemployment levels, there are numerous new funding programs that are dedicated to upskilling our workforce. For years, we have endeavored to help individuals earn jobs that bring financial growth and stability to their families. We share the belief that advanced technical training can lead to better job opportunities, increased wages, and changed lives.

COVID-19 and social distancing are creating challenges for people that rely on non-technical roles. At the same time, technology-based roles have gone virtual, they’ve seen less downtime, and companies are hiring explosively.

We are coordinating with state and county officials, non-profits’ workforce investment organizations, and other government agencies that provide funding for training that will scale up our workforce. If you are an employer looking for funds to improve your team’s skills or you are an individual wanting to upskill or change careers, then do not hesitate to contact us or fill out the form below. We will help you navigate what funding programs may best meet your needs and situation.

WHO IS THE FUNDING FOR?

Companies and career seekers can get funding for training.

Our national and local governments are increasing support to programs that help reskill and upskill our local workforce in advanced technologies. Programs such as OhioMeansJobs, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), TechCred, Incumbent Workforce Training, the Forever GI Bill, and more currently have funding available.

The funding sources are numerous, and the application requirements are diverse per program. Our experience with these programs allows us to take the complexities from the process and help you maximize your opportunity to get connected with the funding and training that you need.

In summary, the funding is directed at every impactful place that will help build our workforce and economy.

These funding opportunities are perfect for companies and individuals seeking upskilling opportunities. Due to COVID-19, our opportunities are now being delivered virtually. We’re sure you have plenty of questions at this point and here are some quick answers.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO APPLY?
Each application process is different, and our advisors are here to help you apply on time and make sure you meet the requirements. All approvals and decisions are made by the funding source.

HOW LONG WILL FUNDING BE AVAILABLE?
Each program is different. Some programs are only available thru the end of 2020 and some are based on allocated funds for the state. Some funding is partially based on whether the funding is successful in reaching the people it was meant for. Consistency in the funding available has a lot to do with the success of the program. It’s truly based on the success of the people we reach.

DO YOU NEED TO BE UNEMPLOYED OR UNDEREMPLOYED?
Not necessarily, again this depends on the program. Call 513-322-8888.

WHAT IS WIOA?

WIOA is a program from the Department of Job and Family Services that is designed to increase opportunities for businesses and individuals to increase their educational, economic, and workforce investment. WIOA is dedicated to increasing the prosperity of workers and employers.

OWD provides information and tools to Ohio’s workforce system. We interpret federal and state law and serve as primary policy-makers for workforce programs. The office administers federal programs that create a comprehensive statewide workforce system of employment services; hiring support and tax credits; and labor market information to employers and workers.
