Corporate Bootcamp FAQ

Private bootcamps are built around your team, your goals, and your schedule, so the length depends on the skills you need to develop. Past programs give a sense of the range. Great American Insurance Group’s developer apprentice program ran 12 weeks, TQL’s reskilling bootcamp followed a 13-week full-stack model, and EBTH upskilled 20 IT team members in 12 days. Programs can be delivered in person or live virtual, on a full-time schedule or one designed around your team’s workload.

MAX has delivered bootcamps since 2012, when we partnered with Great American Insurance Group to build a 12-week developer apprentice program. That program became the foundation of today’s developer bootcamps. MAX has trained IT professionals since 1998.

Private bootcamps are custom-designed, so pricing depends on cohort size, program length, curriculum, and delivery format. Our corporate team will build a quote around your goals. Funding options such as Ohio TechCred can offset a significant portion of the investment.

Yes, when the training leads to TechCred-approved credentials. TQL used TechCred and JobsOhio funding to send 14 employees through its 2022 bootcamp cohort. TechCred reimburses up to $1,000 per approved credential, with a maximum of $30,000 per employer per round. It is open to Ohio employers of any size, for Ohio-resident W-2 employees (contractors and 1099 workers are not eligible). MAX helps with the application, course selection, enrollment, and documentation.

Yes. Private bootcamps can include soft skills such as teamwork, communication, and professional readiness alongside the technical curriculum, so participants are prepared to contribute on real teams.

Yes. Private bootcamps can be built around industry certifications, including CompTIA (Network+, Security+, CySA+), Microsoft (Azure, Power BI, Power Platform), AWS, Cisco, Python (PCEP), and ITIL. Many of these credentials are TechCred-approved, so certification and funding can work together.
