Our progression in products and services over the years is the result of our client relationships. Our clients talk to us, share their successes and their frustrations. We love it when we know we’ve played a supporting role in their successes. But our focus is always on helping them to resolve the issues that cause them the most frustration. This focus has been key to our continued success.
It was in response to client frustration at the shortage of developer talent that led to our coming full circle, adding bootcamps and services for the individual and career changer market.

MAX Technical Training’s Early Success
Before launching MAX Technical Training, owner Denise Bartick worked in the information technology business for a number of years working for Burroughs, Abacus, Sarcom, and The Software School.
In those days the world was experiencing its first decade of rapid growth of software systems. Training companies tended to be more internally focused on selling what they had rather than on what the student or customer needed. Denise felt these training schools were missing something big.
In those early days we were primarily a Microsoft training center, delivering off-the-shelf, Microsoft Official Training.
Today, we are so much more. Our range of technology education has grown significantly. While we are proud of our continued partnership with Microsoft, offering training in 99% of their technologies, we have now expanded to over 500 courses in technologies that range from Agile to VMware, and everything in between.
IT Career Training for the Individual
Denise saw the need for a training provider that would be focused on the needs of the trainee, of the student rather than on the training business itself. She wanted to provide a place to help people grow, to achieve their full potential, where people could feel confident and be comfortable while learning. And she wanted to give employers the confidence that they would get a high return for the dollars spent educating their employees.
The Move to Corporate Training
Denise was on to something. While MAX Technical Training was focusing on the individual market it was less than a year before corporate IT department heads were calling her and asking if they could place their employees in her classes.
Through the years MAX’s client base has grown mainly through referrals and customer advocacy – a direct result of their level of service and quality of instruction.
“Many of our more popular courses came about because our clients asked for them. It can be as simple as that. We work closely with our clients, providing solutions-based services to fill their educational gaps. This is why I started the business in the first place. We aren’t a fast-food training center with cookie cutter offerings.” said Denise.
