WEB DESIGN FUNDAMENTALS

Website design is an exciting and fulfilling career that touches both the technology and the design aspects of websites. Our Web Design Fundamentals course provides you with foundational knowledge in the core technologies used by web development professionals.

Your training would enable you to engage with entry-level website development career opportunities. To help equip you in your career pursuit, you will work with our Career Advisors to help prepare you for the road ahead. Using our process for strengths analysis and our emotional intelligence workshop, you’ll sharpen your professional skillset along you’re your technical.

You will virtually attend the 52-hour program and work hands-on in each technology with our instructors in a remote-live learning experience. You will receive training in all the following technologies:

CSS
Javascript
JQuery
Ajax

Applicants must have basic computer experience. The ability to utilize the minimal functions of navigating computer menus, folder structure, and file management. Learn more about each technology in our detail curriculum guide below.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

IMAP applicants must complete a simple informational survey to begin the application process. Our IMAP Advisor will contact you to help you work through the class selection and coordination with the IMAP program. Click the link below to begin the IMAP survey. WHAT IS IMAP?

The Individual Microcredential Assistance Program (IMAP) helps Ohioans who are low-income, partially unemployed, or totally unemployed participate in a training program to receive a credential at no cost.

IMAP training providers will cover all tuition, fees, and additional costs to help you learn new skills and earn a credential that can lead to a good job.
