I am a lifelong software development professional who loves to instruct energetic, motivated people on how to be successful, professional software developers.
I began my software development career back in the mainframe days with COBOL on a mainframe computer. I have been doing all phases of C#.NET development starting in 2000 with the first beta version of .NET. For the last fifteen plus years, the vast majority of my work has been web-based, enterprise applications that run businesses here in Cincinnati. In addition, I’ve spent a significant amount of time using Java and other open-source technology including PHP and Python.
One of my strongest technologies is SQL. In my early career, I worked for a company that sold SQL database software and taught the fundamentals of SQL to the clients. I also taught companies and individuals the foundations of application development.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Information Processing Systems from the University of Cincinnati.
