Each year U.S. colleges award approximately 1.9 million bachelor degrees. In fact, nearly a third of the U.S. population holds a bachelor degree. Yet 7% of college graduates are unemployed and nearly 15% are underemployed. Despite a highly educated work force, employers difficulty finding candidates to fill open positions.
